Nadine West Month 4 Review

I have to say, I feel like my packages get better and better. This is definitely the best package I have received so far. I would say the key to getting more successful packages is filling out your product review on your account as soon as possible. It definitely has seemed to make a difference.

Customer Service

And once again, Nadine West customer service proved easy to work with and very helpful. My package was supposed to arrive with 4 articles of clothing, and 2 pieces of jewelry according to the packing slip. Side note, ALWAYS read over the packing slip when your package first arrives. This slip includes every item you should have received, the price of each item (that you will be charged if you choose to keep), and the date the package is to be returned. However, this time around, I was missing one of the shirts the packing slip showed I should have.

I emailed customer service right away explaining the situation to them. I had also taken pictures of the packing slip and package in case they wanted. They did ask a few questions but didn’t request any pictures. The initial response was very quick (within 24 hours, less I believe). After answering their few questions, it took a day or 2 more to receive the final answer. That answer was that they were giving me a credit for the cost of the missing shirt so that I would not be charged for that shirt when I returned the package. And sure enough, before the package even arrived back to them, I could see the credit on my account.

Shirts

I was intrigued by this shirt when I pulled it out. I don’t have anything in a snake skin pattern, but I could be “in to it”. Once I put it on, I was liking the look of it even more. The material is very soft, which you don’t expect often from a shirt like this. Also, it is much more of my dressed up type style than most items I have received.

There were two issues that caused me not to swipe this one right up. The collar style is one that is closer to the neck, thus a regular bra doesn’t work great, and your always having to fight with the bra straps. I’ve tried shirts like this multiple times, and I always give up on them after a little while. And secondly, the collar detail was a sort of black and gold ribbon, and I wasn’t loving it. It took me a while to decide, but ultimately I decided to send this one back. If I didn’t decide to keep anything else, I would have kept this one.

Light blue tunic shirt… with pockets! Of course, everyone loves the pockets! I like a tunic shirt, and this one was comfy. Nothing particularly wrong with it, but I’ve just never really loved this style on me in a shirt or a dress. I think it looks cute on many people, but I feel frumpy in this style.

However, my daughter was helping me with pictures this time around and wanted to try this one on. She’ll probably kill me for these pictures some day, but I love moments like these and couldn’t help but share. Who knows what we were laughing at, but these are the simple moments to cherish. Anyway, my daughter was IN LOVE with this tunic turned dress, so I decided to let her keep it.

The Dress

This black and white striped sheath jersey dress is definitely up my alley. This would be a go-to comfy dress for work for me. However, it was a tad… okay a lot, on the tight side for me. Thus, the picture of my daughter in this dress. It fit her much better than it fit me, and I think it looks cute on her. She has this jean jacket that would look really cute with it. She liked it, but she didn’t love it. The straight, more restrictive style is not her favorite. And, she was in love with the light blue tunic, so that’s the one we chose to keep. If this dress would have fit me, it would definitely be in my closet right now.

The Jewelry

If you’ve read any of my other review posts, then you know that if I’m going to keep any jewelry from these shipments it is going to have to WOW me. I have tons of jewelry already that I love, and only cost $5. This jewelry here definitely did not wow me. I looked at it long enough to take these pictures to share, and that’s about it. Back they went.

Nadine West Month 4 Summary

I wouldn’t say this package was spot on, but I liked it much better than any previous packages. None of the clothing items were a bomb. It is a bummer that I didn’t receive the third shirt that was supposed to come in this shipment. However, it was a Paris shirt, and while I’m sure I would have liked it fine, I probably wouldn’t have kept it.

I do wish the dress would have fit me. The size I have on my profile is a medium, and I do think they could do a better job sending different sizes depending on if a certain items runs bigger or smaller. If the clothing item is going to be too small for me, I can almost always tell the second I pull it out of the package, so it shouldn’t be difficult for a stylist to tell. But, I’m happy keeping just one item in my package. And, I’m happy that my daughter got something out of this one.
